First Grade Friends

Dear parents,

Thank you for helping with our carnival. It was a huge success! I would like to thank our homeroom moms, Kelly Reed and Leann Sigle, for helping organize our carnival game.  I would also like to Thank-Rebecca Valentine, Chelsey and Barry Sweet, Kelly Reed, Leann and Terry Sigle for supervising our game for 30 minutes. I appreciate all of you who were able to send items and all who were able to attend. It was a really fun night. Thanks for supporting our school!

Parents-Thank you for making Teacher Appreciation week so Awesome! We enjoyed lunch each day in the lounge. The salads were Amazing! We each received the best cookies from One Smart Cookie! Yummo! :) I was treated with a Sonic drink and beautiful pink Gerber Daisies during the week! I love all the special cards that your children wrote to me. How thoughtful! I appreciate your generosity in gifts, cards, and thoughtfulness. What a Fantastic Week! THANK YOU!!!!

Students may bring a disposable camera the last week of school to capture first grade memories throughout the week!

Upcoming dates:

May 15-All Library books are DUE!!!

May 18-Students going to Grove Valley next year will visit at 9:15 am, please return your child's permission slip. If you need an additional slip let me know. 

May 19-Antler Day-I can't wait for our Fun Field game day! 1:30-3:30 First Graders please bring boxes of Caprisuns for Antler Day.

ANTLER DAY: Students wear you class T-shirt, wear/bring sunscreen, and bring hat/visor/sunglasses.

May 21-Last Day of School-Yippee!!! Cafeteria Lunches will be sack lunches.

May 22-Teacher Record Day
